Persistent Remote Access Consent & Disclaimer – Using Take Control Agent

This document simply confirms that you are giving Texas Fixer / Cloud Fixer permission to install a remote support tool on your computer. This tool allows us to securely connect to your device when you request help or when ongoing support/monitoring is included in your service plan.

Because this remote access stays installed, we need your written consent so you understand:

  • We can only access your device for support purposes
  • Only authorized technicians can connect
  • You can ask us to remove the tool at any time
  • Your data and privacy are respected and protected

In short, this is standard in IT support. It protects you (by defining what access is allowed) and protects us (by confirming we have your permission). It ensures everything is transparent, secure, and professionally documented.

By signing below, I acknowledge and authorize the installation of the Take Control Agent on my PC/laptop by Texas Fixer and Cloud Fixer, and agree to the following terms:

  1. Ongoing Remote Access
    I give consent for Texas Fixer and Cloud Fixer to remotely access and manage this device as part of ongoing support services. Remote access will only be used for legitimate support, maintenance, monitoring, or troubleshooting purposes.
  2. Agent Installation
    The Take Control Agent will remain installed on this device and will automatically run in the background to enable remote access as needed.
  3. Authorized Access Only
    Remote sessions will only be performed by authorized Texas Fixer and Cloud Fixer technicians. No unauthorized access will be conducted or permitted.
  4. Scope of Support
    Remote access may include viewing or managing system settings, performing updates, installing or removing software, running diagnostics, and other actions required for IT support or service plan activities.
  5. Data Privacy
    While reasonable safeguards are used to protect privacy, the user is responsible for safeguarding sensitive or confidential data. We recommend securing or closing sensitive information when not in use.
  6. Security Commitment
    All remote access sessions are encrypted and security best practices are followed for authentication, logging, and technician accountability.
  7. Right to Revoke
    You may request removal of the remote access agent at any time by contacting Texas Fixer or Cloud Fixer. Removing the agent will disable future remote access unless reinstalled and reauthorized.
  8. No Liability for Pre-Existing Conditions
    Texas Fixer and Cloud Fixer are not responsible for any pre-existing hardware, software, data, or performance issues that may be discovered or impacted during support.
