What this document is and why you need to sign it:
This consent confirms that you are voluntarily allowing a technician from Texas Fixer / Cloud Fixer to temporarily access your computer for troubleshooting or support. The access will only last for the current support session and will not remain active afterward. Signing this ensures transparency, protects your privacy, and documents that remote access was granted with your permission.
Remote Support Session Consent & Disclaimer – Using Take Control Remote Applet
By signing below, I acknowledge and consent to the following:
- Temporary Access:
I authorize Texas Fixer and Cloud Fixer to initiate a one-time remote support session on my PC/laptop using the Take Control remote support applet. - No Permanent Installation:
The remote applet used for this session is temporary and does not install ongoing or background access. It is only active during the current support session. - Session Termination:
Once the session is completed and the technician disconnects, all remote access will automatically end. - Security & Privacy:
During the session, the technician may view or interact with system settings and applications as needed to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
I understand that any sensitive or confidential information should be closed prior to starting the session. - No Ongoing Control:
Texas Fixer and Cloud Fixer will not retain any access, monitoring, or control over the device once the session is closed. - User Responsibility:
I am responsible for saving any open work and closing any confidential files or applications before the session begins. - No Liability:
I release Texas Fixer and Cloud Fixer, including its technicians, from liability for issues unrelated to the support work performed during the session.
